Check your house perimeter regularly to locate, detect and prevent problems. These toadstool colonies grew out of abandoned tree stumps left on the side of this house. Based on the size of these colonies, it’s been a while since this side of the house was maintained. Additionally, the soil level (called grade) is too high against the stucco. Raised soil holds moisture against the structure and can cause fungus growth inside the walls.
