Plants on wrought iron fence

Pictured here is ground cover growing over the bottom of a wrought iron fence. These plants trap moisture against the fence which will cause it to rust out and deteriorate. Remove plants from the bottom fence rail to insure a free flow of air. The free flow of air allows the fence dry out after it gets wet from sprinklers and rain. Keeping the fence dry increases the lifespan of your wrought iron fencing.
